The Slipgate arsenal for Generations Arena required a make-over. The Axe was the easiest model to redo, and yet it was hard to make it a remake of the original. The butterfly axe from Quake was anything but nice to look at, but our mod isn't only about eye-candy, it's about nostalgia too. I kept the Axe simple enough to make it resemble the Quake axe, but I gave it a texture and colour more appropriate to a Quake 3 modification.
